Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd are back on the road again in 2014. The two legendary bands wanted to give fans what they have been asking for: Another tour featuring the duo. With one of the most successful tours of 2013, the bands are reuniting in 2014 for a 10-show tour that started on July 10th and comes to a close just 15 days later on the 25th in Michigan.
Bad Company has been going strong since 1973 and was one of the most successful bands in the 70s. The English rock band truly loves playing with Skynyrd and has even stated that the band is “like family.” This close bond between these bands is definitely displayed on stage with each band rocking out to their most successful hits over their illustrious careers. Bad Company will be heard singing “Bad Company” and “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad,” among several other hits spanning over 12 albums.
The set from last year’s tour featured 11 main songs heard along with 1 – 3 encore songs, depending on the night.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is another band that shared the spotlight with Bad Company during the 70s. The band is in a class of its own and is just as much a legend as any other hard-rock band on the planet. While a setlist has yet to be released, there are a few songs that are always played by the band. A few that you will definitely know are “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Workin’ for MCA.”
The amount of songs expected should be between 13 – 14 songs, based off of past shows. Fans will always be treated to an encore, and there is one song that always seems to be chosen: “Free Bird.”
Hard-rock fans should expect an amazing night with two legendary bands taking stage together for the 2nd year in a row.
