Florida Georgia Line kicked off their “2015 Anything Goes Tour” on January 15th in Toledo, OH. Named after their newest album release Anything Goes, the tour has thus far been more like a party than anything else.
The duo is joined by Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard on the road. And while the tour has only been on the road for a couple of weeks, the group has already announced 29 additional tour dates, extending this massive tour into October. When all is said and done, the group will have been on the road for almost a full year.
Anything Goes is Florida Georgia Line’s second studio album. Its first single “Dirt” peaked at Number One, while the second single “Sun Daze” is tearing up the radio. Tickets for newly-announced dates went on sale January 26th as part of the Country Megaticket event.
On the current leg of the tour, the group will make stops in mostly southern and Midwestern states as well as a few stops in Ontario. The newly announced dates will include stops on the west and east coasts.
This is Florida Georgia Line’s first full year of headlining and their first world tour. The group will be playing to bigger crowds at bigger venues, and the dup promises that the shows will be bigger scale.
Thus far, the group’s set list has included “Every Night,” “Bumpin’ the Night,” “Get Your Shine On,” “Smile,” “Round Here,” “Party People” and a cover of Meghan Trainor’s hit “All About That Bass”.
When Thomas Rhett takes the stage as opener, fans can expect to hear “South Side,” “Something To Do With My Hands,” “Beer With Jesus,” “Tee Shirt,” and “Make Me Wanna”.
As for Frankie Ballard, fans will hear him play “Sunshine & Whiskey,” “I Came to Get Down,” “Young and Crazy,” “Drinky Drink,” and “Helluva Life”.
Florida Georgia Line is a country music duo comprised of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley. The pair’s second EP It’z Just What We Do charted on Billboard’s Top Country Albums. The group has opened for Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Colt Ford and also played on the 2012 Country Throwdown Tour. In October 2014, the duo released their second album Anything Goes.
Thomas Rhett is an American country singer who is the son of Rhett Atkins. The singer has charted five singles from It Goes Like This, his first album. The title track “Get Me Some of That” reached number one on Country Airplay.
