The ‘Carnivores Tour’ is scheduled to begin on August 8th and is set to stop at 25 venues all throughout North America before coming to a close on September 19th in California. The tour is going to be a rock fan’s dream come true with Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars and AFI pairing up. The three bands are set to take stage, but little is known how the show will transpire.
AFI formed in 1991 and has released a slew of hits over their career. While not as popular as their tour-mates, the band has many hits to their name, including “Miss Murder,” “Rewind” and “Love like Winter.” The band will definitely throw in songs from their latest 2013 album, but fans will be sad to hear that AFI is not going to be touring for two of the shows in September. What does this mean? AFI is likely the opening act and will not play as many songs as their tour-mates.
Linkin Park recently played at the Warped Tour, which gives fans an insight into what songs may be heard from the group. “Papercut,” “One Step Closer” and “Crawling” are three songs that will definitely make the final setlist. The band is currently working on their 6th studio album, so another song that should be expected will be “Guilty All the Same,” which is their recently released single.
30 Seconds to Mars was gone for quite some time before they finally released their 2013 album. The band kept fans waiting for 4 years before the release. However, fans will be thrilled to hear an instrumental change that they never heard from the band before. Attempting to reach a wider audience, “Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams” was a major hit. Fans can expect the band, along with the great vocals from Jared Leto, to play songs, such as “From Yesterday,” “Birth” and “End of All Days.”
