Motley Crue has decided to finally hang up the mic and enjoy a life of legendary music that they have helped build from the ground up. While the band still has the flare and fire they had in the past, fans will never see them again; so the band proclaims. ‘The Final Tour’ is meant to mark the end of the group’s touring days, and they are going out with a bang with the help of Alice Cooper.
Starting July 2nd, the bands are meant to stop at 72 locations in North America before going into the international spotlight in 2015. No one said that the end would come fast for the band as they plan on touring well into 2015, but the last date for North American fans to see them will be November 22nd.
Alice Cooper will hit the stage first and has 26 albums worth of songs that he can potentially add to his playlist. Going off of some of the already played shows, Cooper will be singing “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “Poison” and will typically end the night with “School’s Out.” In total, Alice Cooper will perform 12 – 13 songs before opening up the stage for the high-energy Motley Crue.
Motley Crue has a setlist of 19 – 20 songs and will normally be up for an encore performance. The night will start off with “Saints of Los Angeles” and eventually lead into all of the favorites fans love. A guitar solo is played later on in the show which is a real crowd pleaser.
Those that love some of the classics by the group will be happy when “Shout at the Devil” is heard as the 13th song and “Girls, Girls, Girls” as the 18th song on the list.
The tour has been in the planning stages or 3 – 4 years and is perfect from start to finish.
