Mark your calendars! The 2015 Vans Warped Tour will kick off June 19 at Pomona’s Pomona Fairplex. Band announcements are starting to roll out, and while the entire lineup hasn’t been announced yet, there are confirmations that Front Porch Step, Kosha Dillz, Handguns, Palisades and Neck Deep will perform.
Other bands scheduled to perform include Alive Like Me, blessthefall, Hundredth and Trophy Eyes.
The tour will roll out in early July and wrap up on August 8 at the White River Amphitheater in Auburn, WA. Over the course of the summer, the Warped Tour will make its way across America and Canada before coming to a close. Tickets go on sale December 12. Warped Fan Club members were able to purchase tickets on December 4.
It’s still too early to know what the 2015 tour has in store for fans, but every year, the festival brings together music and entertainment to keep fans on their toes all day long.
From surprise performers to live action sporting events, there’s always something going on at the Warped Tour. In fact, in 2014, Linkin Park gave a surprise performance to help celebrate the tour’s 20th anniversary. Fans never know what to expect at the Warped Tour.
And because the Warped Tour attracts so many teens each year, parents can escort their teens to the show for free. For parents, this is incentive to let their teens enjoy their music, but stay safe at the same time. Parents will even find a special “parent’s tent” where they can relax, enjoy a cold drink and check out some family-friendly products.
Fans are advised to check the lineup and schedule before attending the festival, so they don’t miss their favorite band’s performance. This year’s lineup and schedule has yet to be announced, but more information should be available in the spring as the tour’s opening date draws near.
Band signings and acoustic performances can also be found in the sponsor vendor area of the show. This is where concert-goers can meet with their favorite bands and get their autograph. Fans can also get their hands on free stuff in the vendor and sponsor village.
For fans who can’t wait for the show and want to stay on top of the latest news and giveaways, the Warped Tour app is available for the iPhone, Android devices and the iPod Touch. The app is free to download and even includes a countdown to the tour’s opening day.
